Teaching instrumental music

Peter’s greatest joy came from teaching instrumental music for over 34 years. He has played in many groups throughout the years, including Masterbrass. He currently plays in the Finger Lakes Symphony Orchestra, the Batavia Brass Quintet, the Geezers, the traditional Irish band Scatter The Mud, Watkins and the Rapiers (in December), and Meghan Koch and the Gentleman Callers, his second greatest joy. In the Callers, he can be seeing playing trombone, guitar, bass, saxophone, flute, keyboard, flute, and whatever else the songs require, while harmonizing with Meghan.
Peter is thankful for helping raise his daughter Emily’s dog, Porter, who was best friends with Adam’s dog, Violet. Walking together in Mount Hope Cemetary led to this great musical friendship, the Callers.
